NIWA

The Network of International Women in Austria (NIWA) supports migrant women by offering resources for job market integration, professional development, and financial independence. Through workshops and social events, NIWA helps women build skills, confidence, and community in Austria.

Estefanía Piñón

Estefanía, born in Mexico City, began her career in art galleries and as a project manager at the National Ministry of Culture. Her immigrant journey started in 2017, moving to Buenos Aires and then Spain for a Master’s in Cultural Management. In 2020, she moved to Vienna, where she founded NIWA to support migrant women. Her experience with labor and migration policies led to a career shift, and she now works as an employment consultant certified by the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, specializing in staff leasing and entrepreneurship.
