DJ Su, born in Bogotá, has been listening to and dancing to the traditional rhythms of Colombia’s Caribbean coast since childhood, but 
it was during her years in Barranquilla, Colombia’s vibrant carnival city, that she developed a deep love for tropical rhythms. Now based in Vienna, she brings the infectious energy of these sounds to local verbenas, sharing her passion for Latin beats with new audiences. This year, together with her partner Dj Hub, she launched the vinyl label discos elgozo. Drawing inspiration from the music of the Colombian Caribbean, discos elgozo kicks off with a series of singles by female-led groups, celebrating ancestral traditions through a lens of queer feminist expression.
